After the resounding success of last year, 2009 sees the return of the Dumfries Jazz Clamjamphrie with even more exciting, inspiring contemporary jazz. Established by Dumfries Youth Jazz Initiative, it aims to provide a showcase for local, national and international names from the jazz idiom, bringing a fresh breath of culture to a town steeped in history.
