Mike Fletcher Septet : Friday 14th March

A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire, Mike Fletcher is already an integral and highly respected cog of the Birmingham scene. Taking a break from work with his quartet (which features legends of the British scene such as Hans Koller and Mark Sanders), Mike brings a very ingenious amalgam of stylistic influences. The rich and thoughtful arrangements featured here are sure to cater for all tastes with influences ranging from 'Birth of the Cool' to Coltrane and reggae.

Mike Fletcher – alto
Ben Bryden – tenor
Sam Wooster – trumpet
Rob Anstey – trombone
Tom Gibbs – piano
Ryan Trebilcock – bass
Simon Spreyer – drums
